Moto Z series to be launched on Tuesday
The Moto Z series,Motorola's first modular smartphone, is to be launched on Tuesday. The phone was first unveiled at Lenovo Tech World 2016, held at San Francisco. Running with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the Moto Z features a fingerprint scanner on the home button, sports a USB Type-C port, and doesn't include the 3.5mm headphone jack. It features a 5.5-inch QHD Amoled display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM, and a choice of 32GB or 64GB of storage, which is expandable up to 2TB.
It comes with a 13Mp rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and laser autofocus and a 5Mp front camera with front flash. It packs a 2600mAh battery that can deliver up to 30 hours of battery life, with TurboPower charging to give 8 hours of battery life in 15 minutes.
