  • On re-organisation of districts
  • New districts will benefit the people and welfare schemes will be taken to their doorsteps like never before. The Government has been taking suggestions and complaints from the people as well as political leaders on the new districts, revenue divisions and mandals for over a year through various meetings: KCR

During his brief stay at party MP Lakshmikantha Rao’s house in Warangal, KCR told mediapersons that new districts will benefit the people and welfare schemes will be taken to their doorsteps like never before. The Government has been taking suggestions and complaints from the people as well as political leaders on the new districts, revenue divisions and mandals for over a year through various meetings. He took objection to some leaders for maintaining double standards on the new districts and the process involved.

The district collectors will have complete knowledge and understanding of families of remote and nearby areas and implement the schemes properly, he hoped. Aim of the new districts was to ensure that the fruits of the schemes will reach every family in all villages through new districts. But the Opposition was afraid of its bleak future as the new districts will help the TRS Government to win confidence of the people. He expressed surprise at the political parties for coming up with new objections only to misguide people.

“We have heard many nations implement some schemes for the welfare of the people and the TRS Government was moving in that direction to make it to people through smooth governance and speedy delivery of the schemes”, KCR said. Referring to the criticism by Congress leaders, the Chief Minister alleged that the former have a one-point program of unleashing needless criticism against the government on every issue with vengeance. He said TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy was talking as he liked not knowing what he was talking.

“If Uttam Kumar Reddy offers constructive suggestions to the government on any issue, we are ready to receive them with good intention. But the TPCC chief was relentlessly talking about the so-called problems of farmers. He has to spell clearly what the problems of farmers. But the State Congress chief was not able to show what the problems of farmers are and behaving in a senseless matter”, he ridiculed.
