Sri Lanka defeated Australia by 163 runs in the third Test on Wednesday, winning the series 3-0 and completing their first ever whitewash of Australia.

The Aussies have lost 13 and won just one Test out of the 18 they have played in Asia since 2008. Before this series, SL had won only one Test against Australia in 33 years.
