CM condoles ex-minister's death
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday condoled the death of former minister S Satyanarayana of Warangal.
In a press release here, KCR stated that the departed leader was one of the founder-members of the TRS party.
Satyanarayana took active participation in statehood movement, the Chief Minister noted. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. KCR asked Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma to conduct the final rites with State honors.
ICFA grieves RVK’s death
India-China Friendship Association (ICFA) of Telangana State has expressed its grief over the demise of its senior leader RVK Satyanarayana due to kidney and heart failure on October 8. In a pressnote here on Wednesday, the ICFA stated that Satyanarayana had been suffering from kidney problems and undergone dialysis for three years. As the disease worsened, he was admitted to the hospital on September 30, but he breathed his last in the early hours of October 8. He was 73 and left behind his wife and a son. Started his career as a teacher, Satyanarayana actively participated in teachers’ movements. Attracted by Communist ideology, he played a key role in the party movements for over 40 years.
