A step forward in development
Sircilla : Telangana IT and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao observed on Wednesday that the reorganization of districts was a step forward in the development of the State.
Addressing a public meeting here on Tuesday after inaugurating new district Sircilla Collectorate, KTR said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao took the decision to bring administration closer to the people. He said Rajanna Sircilla district will be developed into a model district in the State.
The minister assured MPs, MLAs constituency development funds for the new district. He said nothing is impossible with coordinated efforts and asked the officials to work in coordination with the people’s representatives and directed the officials to prepare an action plan at micro level.
Education and health are the two major areas where more concentration is required, he said, adding that digital class rooms and bio- metric system in hostels should be developed with the help of the IT companies. In near future Sircilla and Vemulawada will emerge as major development centres. He asked officials to prepare a master plan to develop proper infrastructure.
The Minister directed the Collector, SP and other district level officials to create department-wise whatsApp groups at mandal and constituency level for proper coordination.
He also directed officials to identify suitable land for the construction of government offices and asked them to prepare booklet depicting all the details.
