Alleging that the State government carved out new districts in a 'most unscientific' manner, former minister and TPCC vice-president D Sridhar Babu demanded the government to follow scientific methods at least in bifurcation of employees.

DIVISION OF EMPLOYEES

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the Congress leader warned that if the government followed ‘unscientific’ methods even in the bifurcation of employees, the entire process might land in legal controversies. The Congress leader, however, said that his party was not against bifurcation but wanted it to be done in a scientific manner. “Congress had made its stand very clear at the all-party meeting, but the government has done the entire process in a hushed-up manner.

There was no clarity on the process adopted,” he said. He also took a dig at the government for not conceding public demand to create Manthani district. Sridhar Babu demanded the government to withdraw cases booked against JAC leaders and workers. Former whip Arepalli Mohan, Lorry Owner’s Association president A Anand and other leaders were present at the press conference.
