App to give virtual trial room and in-store shopping experience
Hyderabad based startup TRUPIK, is redefining the shopping scenario with mobile application-driven platform providing virtual trial room and in-store shopping experience. It announced launching TRUPIK Kiosks in select apparel brand stores in Hyderabad. The kiosks will have high-end 3D cameras to scan customers and provide them virtual trial room experience upon downloading TRUPIK Connect application. While the physical trial of clothes stays, the new experience is highly advanced for digital shoppers who had the only option to pick the apparel of a certain size.
The customers walking into notified retail stores can choose to get scanned and get a message. Either they have to download TRUPIK Connect or if they already have the application, they can purchase on the app and give specifications including weight, height, complexion etc. The cutting-edge technology of TRUPIK Connectdrapes the garment on the digital 3D replica of the customer designed to his specifications.
This gives a real feel of how the garment looks on the user. TRUPIK Connect is the first of its kind service in the world. TRUPIK has tied up with top-notch brands of the national and international repute and this gives customers a wide range to choose from. Currently available for men and in the garment section, TRUPIK Connect and Kiosk services will cater to women from Diwali. To begin with, the kiosks are available at six stores in the city and the deliveries are arranged from 45 stores.
The deliveries have been arranged in a hyper-local set up and TRUPIK assures to deliver the goods within two hours at the doorstep. The stores will include Allen Solly, Wills Lifestyle, Indian Terrain, People, Van Heusen, Peter England and Laven. TRUPIK plans to extend its footprint to more stores across the city while vertically enhancing the product portfolio by bringing footwear, jewellery, accessories, and health &fitness goods in its fold in the near future, with current daily average downloads of 100 and an appreciable conversion of 10 percent.
