The village of Shishmaref in the US state of Alaska voted, by 89 to 78 votes, to leave their home in the wake of global warming melting the city's icy coast.
An Arctic youth ambassador native to Shishmaref said that the lack of ice has made it "harder to collect enough meat" and has affected "hunting, fishing and other traditions".
