US Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders on Tuesday effectively ended his candidacy and endorsed presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton at a joint rally in New Hampshire.

Sanders said, "Secretary Clinton has won the Democratic nomination...I intend to do everything I can to make certain she will be the next president.

" He added that Clinton had 389 more pledged delegates than him.
