Profit Rises by 291%

Kotak Mahindra Bank on Thursday reported a net profit of Rs741.97 crore for the quarter ended June, registering a year-on-year rise of 291%.
The bank's gross non-performing assets surged 25.81% from the corresponding period a year ago. Notably, the bank merged ING Vysya Bank with itself in April 2015 and started reporting results including ING Vysya only in subsequent quarters.
