KCL to set up Rs 100-cr plant in Sri City
Paper Printing and Packaging firm Khemka Containers (KCL) has laid foundation for its new production unit at Sri City. The directors of the company Rajeev Khemka, Sanjay Khemka and Ashish Khemka laid the foundation stone. The company will set up the plant in a plot of 10 acres with an investment close to `100 crore. It is planned to be completed by this October. The plant will produce corrugated boxes, mono cartons and printed display items.
The factory would provide employment opportunity for about 200 people. Ravindranath Sannareddy managing director, Sri City said, "KCL's products are used in a range of industries across food and beverage, FMCG, as well as engineering and allied fields. Their presence in Sri City will definitely be an added advantage for most industries located here."
KCL has for production units in the country. It serves almost the entire packaging requirements of MNCs and large Indian Companies in - Food, Consumer Durables, Home Appliances, FMCG Products, Engineering Goods and Automotive Components. Cadbury, Pepsico, Tata, Godrej, and Whirlpool are some of the KCL's prominent clients.
