Responding to the allegations made by a senior minister in Uttar Pradesh government, the state’s Governor Ram Naik said he is not a BJP leader anymore and he belongs to RSS.
“I no longer belong to BJP. I had resigned from its membership and all its posts before taking oath as a Governor,” Mr Naik said in a statement. Completing one year in office, the UP Governor spoke to media during the release of the book ‘Raj Bhavan mein Ram Naik 2014-15.’
When asked about Azam Khan’s allegations, Mr. Naik replied, “He is a senior minister in the government. I see him as an exception and do not want to give any statement about him.”
