Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has appealed to the centre to increase the Haj slots allotted to the state for 2015. The chief minister wrote a letter to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj regarding this issue on Sunday.

Meanwhile, even more than ten months after its formation, Telangana is still missing from the official website of the Haj Committee of India. Telangana Hajis might face difficulties in getting information regarding Haj Pilgrimage from the state through the HCI website due to this problem.
