Chauhan being targetted for his ideology: Organiser
RSS mouthpiece Organiser has said that actor Gajendra Chauhan, who is being asked to step down from the post of chairman of FTII, is actually being targeted for the “ideology he subscribes.”
The article defended government’s right to make appointments and said that before being dismissed, Chauhan should be given a chance to prove himself.
The article also took a dig at the students protesting against the appointment, saying, "The Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) at Pune has earned the distinction of being the only institution in the country where the pupils possess the veto power to reject the appointment of the institute's chief by the government."
"It also seems to be the unique educational institute where the result is declared even before a person has sat for the examination," the article added.
The mouthpiece had also termed the protesting students as anti-Hindu.
