GMR Airports Limited (GAL) and Delhi International Airport (P) Limited (DIAL) is organizing the Asian chapter of Global Airport Development (GAD) conference from Sept 7 to 9. This is the first time that GAD Asia will be held in India. The Three-day event offers platform to 200 influential players including airport operators, airlines, policy makers, regulators and potential investors from across the region and around the world.

Explaining the highlights of the event, Sidharath Kapur, President of GAL (finance and business development) said this is an opportune time for such a conference, when the Government of India has unleashed New Civil Aviation Policy (NCAP). “We hope this platform will create a new vista of opportunities for development of Asian aviation sector and we expect best of personalities in this sector to brainstorm on some key challenges plaguing the industry.”

CEO of DIAL I.Prabhakara Rao said that it is a great opportunity for Delhi Airport, which has played a pivotal role in transforming Indian aviation through the development of world class infrastructure.
