appeared in Bikini in the film An Evening in Paris (Shammi Kapoor-Sharmila starrer, directed by Shakti Samantha) it was the talk of the country in the late 70s. The question everyone was asking then was how could a decent heroine like Sharmila wear a bikini? Now the issue and discussion are irrelevant.

But the Bikini came back into discussion in the Tollywood, when young heroine Samantha refused to do a scene wearing bikini for a film to be made with Pawan Kalyan as hero. The script demanded that Samantha wear a Bikini which she flatly refused.

Then the producer and director had no option but to approach young and upcoming heroine Rakul to do the honours. Rakul had no such reservations and readily agreed to do the role. Samantha’s loss seems to be a gain to Rakul. It’s like icing on the cake that Rakul had already seen in a bikini and she also did lip-lock scenes in the Bollywood. Samantha seems to have some reservations about her costumes. So be it with her!

Well, Samantha’s story does not end here. She is recently thrown out of a project by none other than "Cherry”. For reasons best known to him, Ramcharan forced director Srini Vaitla to replace Samantha with Rakul. Samantha was to be paired with Ram Charan in a film to be directed by Srinu Vaitla. Though Srinu Vaitla decided to cast Samantha, it was Ram Charan who made sure she exited out of the project. Understandably, Samantha is fretting and fuming At Cherry.

Rakul is the new glam diva for youngsters who like their heroines hot. So, Charan is said to have suggested to Srinu Vaitla that Rakul would be the appropriate choice for his film. And Samantha, obviously doing some Cherry Picking!
