KFC Produces Edible Nail Polish in Hong Kong
Believe it or not KFC is all set to offer edible fried chicken nail polish! Yes you read that right. KFC, Hong Kong is all set to release two different ‘flavors’ of nail polish. The flavors are ‘Original’ and ‘Hot & Spicey ‘. The "Hot & Spicy" flavor has an orange shade while the ‘Original Recipe’ has a green shade. Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong, is taking care of advertising the polishes while Singapore based spice company, McCormick is responsible for production. The nail polishes consist of spice blends dissolved in starch with vegetable gum acting as an adhesive so that it can stick to your nails.
The nail polishes are to be applied/consumed on a one-time use basis only. The polishes must be refrigerated and they don’t last for more than five days because they are made from edible substances.
They are available only in Hong Kong and consumers can vote for their favorite flavor so that the fast food company can decide which flavor can go for mass production.
With this latest development KFC has taken it’s tag line of “Finger Lickin’ Good” to a whole new level.
