'Gajwel will be most beautiful town'

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao said on Saturday that Gajwel would be the most beautiful town during in next two years providing all amenities to residents. He took part in a string of development programmes here laying foundation stones for Rs 98.72-crore development works. He said that it was only a beginning. Many more development programmes would be implemented in the town in future. An ultramodern housing colony would be built in the town will all modern facilities for the benefit of 2,500 to 3,000 people.
Two-storied structures would be built in the colony. Flat dwellers will have full-scale amenities that are characteristic of the most modern residential colonies. It will have places of worship for people of various faiths, bus bays and parks. A veg and non-veg market and a rytu bazaar would be located in the place where a junior college existed now. The Sangapur and Mutrajpalli roads would be developed into four-lane roads, he said.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the Rs 18.50-crore 100-bed hospital, Rs.6-crore auditorium, Rs.19.75-crore integrated office complex, a Rs.21-crore girls’ education complex, Rs.21.45-crore boys’ education complex, Rs.8.65-crore Pandavulacheruvu development works, Rs 1-crore burial ground (Vaikuntha Dhamam), a housing colony and other works. Similarly, he laid the foundation stone for a primary health center building at Markook in Mulug mandal to be built at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore. He also laid foundation stone for laying of cement concrete roads, SC community hall and a burial ground (vaikuntha Dhamam) in the village.
