Country’s largest amusement theme park Essel World has evinced interest to set up theme parks in the islands of Krishna river near Amaravati. A delegation led by Ashok Goel, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Essel World called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad on Saturday. The Essel executives explained that there was potential for promoting tourism in the state. The delegates informed the Chief Minister that they will prepare environmental-friendly proposals with mechanical and natural filtration methods. They have further shown interest in constructing a multi-storied centre for fun and recreational purposes. Chandrababu Naidu said the government was planning to develop a string of tourism circuits and develop it as an economy generator. He asked them to come up with proposals on identifying areas of investments.
