The second edition of India Gadget Expo (IGE) will be held in Hyderabad in between September 18-21, 2015 at Hitex Convention Centre. The event serves as a platform to showcase innovative gadgets and technologies. IGE 2015 will bring together technology providers, gadget manufacturers, technology innovators, bureaucrats, government officials, entrepreneurs and startups. The expo will showcase around 1,000 gadgets of over 300 manufacturers from 12 countries including Israel, China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan.

K T Rama Rao, Telangana minister for IT & Panchayati Raj, said that Hyderabad shall remain as permanent venue for the event and foresees immense potential to transform the event into a global platform attracting the big brands and experts. “This is first of its kind event in Asian sub continent, especially in our city of Hyderabad. We can together raise the bar in the years to come, perhaps to the level of CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas,” he said.
