Instagram introduced its redesigned editing tool set on Tuesday, by adding new features ‘Color’ and ‘Fade’ for Android users.

As Android now has the accessibility to download these tools, which are redesigned in the Instagram application (v6.19.0), IOS devices will also be able to avail these tools in a few days, Instagram stated on its blog.

Users will now be able to color the highlights or shadows in a photo by using the color tool palette, with various hues such as pink, blue, red, purple, yellow, orange, green. For the time being, the Fade tool can introduce a silent tone to photos by softening the colors.

Instagram has also included a Post Notifications feature for Android and iOS applications. This feature allows the users to receive push notifications from their most loved accounts, whenever a new picture is posted. The Post Notifications feature has been already accessible to the Instagram users, on both Android and iOS, TechCrunch says.

A stand-alone application 'Design from Instagram,' which is used for making collages of iPhone pictures, was launched by the company a month ago. The Layout from Instagram application can consequently find the photos that contain faces, and then can feature the alternative to share collages with Facebook and in addition at Instagram.

"When you open Layout, we will automatically show you the previews of custom layouts as you pick photographs from your camera roll," Instagram said.

Layout from the Instagram application is only accessible for iPhone users. Instagram has guaranteed during the launch for iOS that this version will also soon be available for Android users in the upcoming months.
