Sk JoshiPrincipal Secy (Irrigation), Telangana govt: Every day starts with a new ray of hope, the experiences of our past become lessons to be learnt or memories to cherish for a lifetime. The dawn of a new day washes our mind and refreshes our soul to create a better present, to be judicious and careful in what we do.

"Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes" - Oscar Wilde

It is in our hands to be sensible and organised, to fill our minds with swachh soch and our lungs with swachhta, so that we speak and behave in a positive way. The older and more successful you become in life, the more humble and clear minded you should be. Organising your habits, being punctual, polite, being sympathetic to others, being patient in times of crisis, are all a part of man’s evolution. I believe that a man’s true identity is not only defined by his professional portfolio, but also, by the way he conducts himself at home, generosity to the needy, and capacity to forgive and move on.

Don’t carry burdens of office back home. We are blessed with two beautiful worlds: Family and professional life - treat both with respect. A family needs you to be the lighthouse of stability, caretaker and knowledge giver. At work you are as industrious as an ant, resiliently working and organised. One must maintain both worlds in harmony. The way to do this is by having a pure mind and heart.
I find so much positivity in the Swachh Soch, Swachh Bol campaign. It is the most complex, yet thought provoking issue of society. To be good and encourage positive behaviour, to be happy without hurting, to promote the welfare of all and to be in harmony with nature – this is the role of humanity.
