Purbali Dutta student, Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences: Purity is a state of mind, body, soul and thoughts. If our thoughts are pure, we can achieve great things. Purity comes from oneself, it is achieved by self-consciousness. If we have better thoughts, a cleaner mind, most of problems in our country and our lives wouldn?t even arise. Nobody can be completely pure. No human today can call himself as a completely selfless and pure being. There is not a single person who is "not selfish? in today?s world.

"We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

We cannot just sit and harbour the false hope that our Bharat will be clean and pollution-free on its own. We cannot hope that it will be corruption-free on its own. We have to be the change! If we cannot completely eradicate problems our country is facing, at least we can confront them and lessen our problems.

Work towards a cleaner society and better environment. Preserve it for our future generations. If we just keep hoping that people will suddenly become responsible and stop taking bribes and dispose waste responsibly, that will not happen. It is a false hope. Recent campaigns have at least encouraged common people to get out of their homes and clean (or pretend to clean) their property for the sake of paparazzi and publicity.
If everyone thought of work as being holy and all work being equally important, our society would be a better place where there would be equality and purity.
