Langer in race for coach job?

Former Australian cricketer Justin Langer’s name is making rounds as the next chief coach of Indian cricket team. The 44 year old had been batting consultant for Australian side and now heads his home team, Western Australia as chief coach.
The coach post has been lying vacant after Duncan Fletcher contract ended with the World Cup 2015 and BCCI has been scouting for a suitable person since then.

There were also reported that BCCI had appointed a three member committee constituting of Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly to select the new coach. However BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya and Secretary Anurag Thakur will be taking a final call on the coach’s selection.
