India tennis ace Sania Mirza created history by becoming the first Indian World No. 1 in women's doubles rankings, who also clinched the stupendous title at the WTA Family Circle Cup along with her Swiss partner Martina Hingis.

The top-seeded Indo-Swiss duo blew away the challenge of Darija Jurak and Casey Dellacqua by posting 6-0 6-4 in just 57 minutes in the lop-sided final of the USD 731,000 clay court event.

The duo who have formed a new partnership, had achieved success at the Indian Wells this year. Last week they bagged the Miami Open. It shows a classy affair of the two sensations who look to rule tennis world in 2015.

It is Sania's third successive title win with Hingis since joining forces in March. They won trophy in Indian Wells, which was their first tournament together and followed up that with win in Miami.
