Develop yourself on your own

One of the main tenets that the Bhagavadgeetha explains is to develop and prosper yourself, on your own self. In other words, it means that one must Put his own efforts in order to develop and prosper.
"Atmanaha Uddhareth Atmanam”, this is a dictum that Lord Krishna explains in his karma Yoga.

The main tenet is a lesson to everyone in this world, who lament that there is none to help him out in his vagaries of life. The main lesson that the Gita teaches one is to make his own life, by one’s own efforts.This self help motto is also symbolized by the life of Mahatma Gandhi, who used to tell all to do his/her own work in the motto of self help.

This he practiced in his life, by cleaning the toilets and doing all his daily chores on his own efforts. The larger lesson that this tells is that ‘make your own destiny on your own hard work and toil. The fruits of this would be sweet and the life would become itself one to cherish.
