Big B in trouble
Bollywood’s Big B has been served a legal notice of Rs 1-crore for a copyright violation on the social media.
He is charged with sharing a poem on his Facebook timeline and tweeting it on May 24 without taking consent of the writer while crediting a person who had sent it to him.
According to Jagbir Rathee, a Rohtak-based Haryanvi poet, Sr Bachchan had posted his popular poem on May 24, which was an instant hit on the social media.
"It was the morning of May 25 when I was informed by a student that Amitabh Bachchan had praised a person named Vikas Dubey for the poem 'Court me kutta'. It was a big hit as it was liked by 1.72 lakh people, shared by 16,000 fans and commented by thousands. I immediately posted a comment on Big B's timeline and also tweeted the same. Surprisingly, the star rather than correcting the name deleted my comments," Rathee remarked.
