14 aftershocks hit Nepal

As many as 14 aftershocks hit 80 kilometres from Nepal, after a massive earthquake of 7.9 magnitude on richter scale occurred in the country at around 12 pm on Saturday. So far 30 dead bodies have been recovered by the officials.

Many historic temples collapsed due to this massive earthquake. Basantpur durbar and hundreds of monuments collapsed and the loss of life in these incidents is yet to be estimated. People were reported to running through the streets in panic. Large craters also developed in the roads.

Scientists claim that it is the biggest earthquake ever in Nepal’s history.

According to initial reports, nine people have died in India including 3 in Bihar and 2 in Uttar Pradesh.
