Stage is set for TRS plenary

The stage is set for the grand organisation of ruling TRS party’s first plenary meeting after the formation of the new State scheduled to be held on April 24 in the State capital. Seven committees’ set up by the party high command namely arrangements, resolutions, food, women, decoration, parking and stage committees are completely involved in the completion of responsibilities entrusted to them on a war footing.

The party high command has asked its district committee to bring 300 delegates from each Assembly constituency for the plenary taking the total number to 36,000 from across the State. The responsibility of mobilising the delegates has been entrusted to the Assembly in charges of the party, who have been asked to distribute information kits consisting of information related to plenary like copies of resolutions to be passed, welfare programs implemented by the State government.

The organisers have set up a huge stage for the party leaders and separate enclosures for the delegates to sit at LB stadium. Four special galleries for the important leaders, women and media persons have also been set up. State IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao, who is also the chairman of decoration committee, inspected the LB Stadium on Tuesday to take personal stock of the arrangements being made for the plenary along with other party leaders. He gave some suggestions to party leaders for completing all the arrangements on time.

The entire city has turned pink by party leaders, for reminding the most demanding event. Huge welcome arches were set up at 150 different locations of the city. The leaders have also mobilised 75,000 party flags and 50 lakh buntings to adorn the entire city besides putting up 400 large hoardings in every nook and corner of Hyderabad.

The bursting of crackers would turn out to be the highlight of the entire event, which would also be burst after the announcement of K Chandrasekhar Rao’s name as the president of the party for 30 minutes. The food would be served to the delegates including KCR at Nizam College Grounds. The parking arrangements have been made at NTR Gardens, Nampally Exhibition Grounds, and Public Gardens for the vising guests.
