Modi govt may declassify files related to Bose, forms committee

The Narendra Modi government has formed a high-level committee to decide whether to declassify the documents related to mysterious disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, reports said on Wednesday.

The government has formed an inter-ministerial committee headed by Cabinet Secretary to review the Official Secrets Act in context of Netaji files.

As per reports, the committee will also include officials from Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) departments.
