TRS plans mega Foundation Day

The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is planning its first Foundation Day event on April 27 at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad.

This is the first public meeting of the party after bifurcation of the united state and the leadership is planning to assemble about 10 lakh people for this event. The plenary session is scheduled on April 24 at Lal Bahadur stadium and about 36,000 delegates would be sent invitations.

TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao has constituted seven committees for the plenary session and general secretary K Keshav Rao will head the resolution panel. The supremo KCR is likely to be re-elected the TRS president for a two-year term period and he will be given the power to elect a new panel. Peddapalli MP Balka Suman will be take charge of media arrangements for the event.
