Chittoor encounter: CM takes stock of the situation

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh; Chandrababu Naidu took stock of the issue of the Chittoor encounter near Tirupati in Chandragiri, where smugglers of red sandalwood from the Tirumala forests were killed in a police encounter. The smugglers are believed to be from Tamilnadu.
The deputy CM, Chinarajappa said that there was no role of SIMI in Andhra Pradesh. A magisterial enquiry was issued by the chittor district collector.Later; Chinarajappa added that there were two international terrorists in the 20 odd smugglers who were killed in the encounter.The enquiry officer in this case is DRO of Chittor district, Vijayachander.
