BJP's national executive meet begins

The two-day national executive meet of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) commenced in Bengaluru on Friday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior BJP leader LK Advani, party president Amit Shah and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, amongst others.

Discussing about the controversial land acquisition bill, the party stated that it is planning to start a mass contact programme to connect with the farmers and put an end to the myths spread by the opposition.

The meet will also witness discussion on strengthening of the party’s presence in Telangana.
