Telangana, Chicago state varsities sign MoU

Nizamabad MP K Kavitha on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Telangana University and Chicago State University during her visit to the US city. The memorandum would help in exchange of ideas in the education system, particularly cooperation in computer science and education department. As per the agreement, students and research scholars in Telangana would be able to study their second year at the Chicago University.
The syllabus of Chicago University would be made available to the Telangana students. "The agreement will be a milestone in improving educational standards in Telangana,” said Kavitha. The MP later spoke to the students of Chicago University.
University president Dr Watson, University Provost Angelina Anderson, University VC Dev Kalif and others participated in the event.
The TRS MP later visited various places including famous 1871 Entrepreneur Incubation Center, C-Smart Energy Grid and Treteka Flash point in Chicago.
