K Ramakrishna, CPI Secretary Andhra Pradesh on Friday condemned the comments of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for terming opposition leaders as demons. He demanded that Naidu should call an all party meeting to discuss the construction of capital city for Andhra Pradesh if he has any respect on democracy and to opposition leaders.

Ramakrishna accused Chandrababu of failing to invite an all party meeting in this regard despite one year of State formation. He also criticised that the Chief Minister is adopting unilateral decisions by belittling the opposition leaders on key issues and policies.

The CPI will extend support to the Naidu government if it wants to build the capital city for people, he said, adding that they will oppose the same if it was looting the lands of the people for favouring corporate companies. Instead of giving an opportunity to local talent and experts who are globally noted Naidu doing rounds to Singapore on capital city plan.

Chandrababu Naidu who failed to bring funds from the Centre for the capital city construction, is targeting the opposition, he charged.
