Michigan varsity students applaud Mission Kakatiya

Students of Michigan University of United States of America on Thursday said that the Mission Kakatiya Programme would give good results in the future and would bring laurels to the government.

University students Adithya Dahagama, Hassan Bukhari, Sara Cole, Leon Espira John Monnat, Kelly Serfling, Shamitha Keerthi, Pavel Azgaldov and Brian Wang have met Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, after their survey on the Mission Kakatiya works in the State.

They have come forward to lend a helping hand to the government in the programme to create awareness among the people. The students toured Adilabad, Nalgonda, Karimnagar and Warangal districts to study Mission Kakatiya. They have interacted with the farmers.

Michigan University students said that the Mission Kakatiya would help in to reduce about 25,000 tons of Carbon emissions in the first year and more in the subsequent years.
