Monday accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of conspiring and trying to create hurdles to Telangana State development.

Speaking to the media at Parade Grounds before the commencement of TRS Foundation Day celebrations here, Etela charged Chandrababu Naidu with making deliberate attempts to malign the image of Telangana government. He also expressed discontent over Naidu’s recent remarks that the TDP will come to power in Telangana in 2019 elections. "This type of remarks will not destabilise our party and government as our cadre and people will fight in unison the nefarious designs of Chandrababu,” he warned.

Despite formation of the State after a protracted struggle for water, power, jobs and resources, the Chandrababu Naidu government was not ready to give due share of natural resources to Telangana, he charged. Naidu’s denial of the resources is in sheer violation of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, he asserted. The Finance Minister also alleged that Naidu could not digest the TRS government policies and coming in the way of its welfare. He pointed out that Chandrababu is reluctant to give due share of power and water from the AP projects to Telangana. Rajender sought to know why the leaders from Telangana Telugu Desam were not asking Naidu on the rightful share of the power and water to Telangana.
