Six killed in road mishaps

Five people died and three others injured in two separate road accidents in Warangal and Mahabubnagar districts on Thursday.

While three persons died on the spot when an unidentified vehicle hit a two-wheeler at Hanumakonda petrol bunk, while two other people died when two vehicles coming from opposite direction collided with each other at Kottapalli in Mahbubnagar. Both the accidents occurred in the wee hours of Thursday.

The police informed that the three youth deceased in Hanumakonda accident were identified as Sandeep and Bharath of Mahabubabad and the third one Ashok, a gold smith. All the three deceased were of 20 years age. The Warangal police registered a case and investigating.

Meanwhile, Mahabubnagar police informed that two people travelling in an auto died on the spot when a tractor coming from the opposite direction colided with the auto. Three other persons, including auto driver, were seriously injured. The police registered a case and send the deceased for postmortem. The case is under investigation and the deceased were not yet identified, according to police.

In another accident in Nalgonda district, one person died and six others were injured. The Accident occurred at Chintapalli when the car the deceased were traveling in overturned. The police shifted the injured to Hyderabad for better treatment after giving first aid. The accident occurred when the deceased and the injured were going in a car to Nagarjuna Sagar for holy dip in Krishna rive on the eve of Pushkaralu.
