The Karimnagar Superintendent of Police, Shiva Kumar has urged the engineering students to do their live projects in the town itself instead of going to Hyderabad and other cities.

Addressing the students of Jyothimasthi Institute of Technological Sciences [JITS] in a meet, Mr. Kumar said that the students could work with Karimnagar police, who have undertaken several crucial projects involving the use of information technology. They are giving special focus to women’s safety, reduction of road accidents and traffic regulation, apart from other issues.

Mr. Kumar also stated that he would back all the student projects, which revolved around improving the policing methods and benefited the society. JITS Chairman J. Sagar Rao, Director K. Venkat Rao and Principal A.R. Naseer were present, amongst others, during the address. Students of several streams participated in the meet in large number.
