In general, any MLA visits his constituency either for laying foundation stones, opening ceremonies or attending party’s meetings. But, an MLA from Manthani in Karimnagar district, Putta Madhu, proves that he is different from other elected representatives. Soon after he was elected as MLA, he had undertaken a programme ‘Mana Vooru-Mana MLA’ aimed at extending thanks to people for electing him as their MLA and knowing the problems of people. So far, he has visited about 100 villages in his constituency and took stock of the situation prevailing in villages.

As part of his programme, Madhu on Sunday visited Khansaipeta, Khanapur villages of Manthani mandal where he addressed the gathering of people. Lauding Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s initiative to develop the State on all fronts and the government’s flagship programmes like Water Grid, Mission Kakatiya, Kalyanalaxmi, Shadhimubarak, Food Security Cards and Asara Pension, he said the government was committed to fulfill all promises made during the election and was sincerely working to implement them effectively.

The MLA said he had discussed the proposal of making Elmadugu Crocodile Sanctuary Park as tourist destination with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who has promised to consider the proposal.
Madhu also promised to speed up the proposals of constructing road bridges, supplying of drinking water to all villages and improving facilities in government schools and hospitals.
