Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Sunday reviewed the arrangements for Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s visit to launch new districts from Siddipet. Along with MLC Faruq Hussain and CM’s OSD Deshapathi Srinivas, Harish Rao inspected the works at Siddipet wherein KCR will formally inaugurate the District Collector’s office to mark the formal launch of new districts across the State on Dasara on October 11 at 11 am.

He said 30,000 laddus would be distributed at 20 selected places and 60,000 balloons would be released to mark the occasion followed by cultural programmes by 1,000 artistes. Harish said that KCR, who earlier urged the then Chief Minister N T Rama Rao to make Siddipet a new district, was doing so now.
