Addala becomes a scouter

Metro India earlier had reported that Srikanth Addala and Mahesh Babu’s new movie Brahmotsavam will be set in the backdrop of Vijayawada. The script for this film is complete and now director Addala has shifted his focus and is busy finalising locations for the film. This movie is tipped to be a family drama.

It is learnt that Addala along with ace cinematographer Ratnavelu and art director Thota Tarani has left for Vijayawada to scout for locations around the banks of river Krishna for the film. The team by now has visited popular places like Prakasam Barrage, Goddess Kanaka Durga Temple, Indrakeeladri Mountain and nearby villages of the city. “Srikanth Addala and his team are touring Vijayawada and the villages around the city.

They are planning to erect a special set for the film and have finalised a location by the river bed of Krishna,” informs a source from the production. The film will be launched on May 31 of 2016, and the makers are considering Rakul Preet Singh as one of the female leads opposite Mahesh Babu. The first schedule of the film would commence soon after Mahesh wraps Srimanthudu up.
