No regulation yet in e-commerce

E-commerce laws and regulations in India are still evolving and this has created a sort of confusion and uncertainty among e-commerce entrepreneurs in India, said Amit Mehra, associate professor, Indian School of Business during a workshop on ‘Adding e-commerce edge to business’ by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) on Monday.

Explaining about the Google Analytics for e-business, Mehra said, "To improve the number and quality of customers, Key Performance Indicators must be understood for better management of digital media website design. Managing digital media is crucial whether it is paid, owned or earned. Good quality of owned media is a crux to get traffic.” Better website design through experiment and test will work well.
