TCS posts PAT of Rs 5,773 cr; offers one-time bonus to staff

The Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has posted a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 5,773 crore, in its fourth quarter results. 

It has witnessed a 7.7 per cent year-on-year rise and an 8.4 per cent quarter-on quarter rise. 

Revenue for the fourth quarter was posted at Rs 24219.8 crore, with a 12.4 per cent year-on-year rise.

In a press release issued by TCS, the company's chief financial officer Rajesh Gopinathan said, "We have maintained our profitability in a challenging operating environment, where currency has been a strong headwind for some time."

TCS announced one-time bonus of Rs 2,628 crore to staff to mark 10 years of its public listing.
