DLF to exit Nifty on March 27

Realty firm DLF will be dropped from the National Stock Exchange's benchmark index Nifty from March 27, 2015.
DLF would be excluded from the 50-share benchmark index and CNX 100 Index. It would be replaced by Indiabulls Housing Finance.
"The Index Maintenance Sub-Committee has decided to make the following changes in various indices as part of its periodic review," India Index Services & Products, which maintains Nifty index, said in a statement. "These changes shall become effective from March 27, 2015," it added.
Under the CNX Midcap Index, companies like Housing Development and Infrastructure have been excluded. Those included in the index are Dewan Housing Finance Corporation, DLF and others.
