Hyderabad Angels makes first exit

One of the fastest growing angel investors in India networks, Hyderabad Angels which invests in early-stage businesses has made its first exit from Edutor Technologies, an education startup with three-and-half time’s returns.

The Hyderabad-based educational start-up, Edutor Technologies serves the educational sector by developing and marketing interactive learning platforms for touch devices.

"This is our first exit and we hope to make few more during the course of the year," said PS Sreekanth, investment director at Hyderabad Angels.

Existing investors bought out Hyderabad Angel’s undisclosed stake in Edutor. Hyderabad Angels is now focusing on the seven deals in the pipeline, which are at various stages of closing.

In the last four years, Hyderabad Angels has invested Rs 15 crore across 11 startups which includes Thrillophilia, GIBSS, NowFloats, and Online Prasad.
