MSIL's new CSR initiative unveiled, 45 skill enhancement centres

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has introduced Automobile Skill Enhancement Centres (ASEC) with the aim to train over 2,100 youth in car service and repair annually.

MSIL is setting up 45 ASEC institutes across India with full-time trainers and equipment to scale up the skill development activities.

These government-run industrial training institutes will be equipped with a model workshop to provide practical training.

This is the part of company’s corporate social responsibility programme with an investment of 5 crore.

The ASEC’s are being set up in designated ITIs in Srinagar, Hoshiarpur, Jammu, Patiala, Yamuna Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Dewas, Dehradun, Godhra, Jabalpur, Surat, Mangalore, Ankleshwar, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Mysore, Karimnagar, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Calicut and Thrissur among others.
